The observatory of Nagasaki Prefectural Forest, surrounded by vast and lush nature, is located inside the campsite.
The purpose is to have the citizens of the prefecture widely experience the world of stars and to understand the importance of nature through the vastness of the infinite universe.
This is the prefecture’s first barrier-free eyepiece with a 20cm aperture, and it can be used by wheelchairs while sitting.
We rent out telescopes and binoculars, so enjoy the starry sky in nature.
